| For relief from:
- Breathing difficulties
- Allergies, cold & flu symptoms
- Shortness of breath
- Sinus conditions
- Some types of snoring
- The effects of smoking and dehydration
The tiny particles of salt help flush impurities from your nasal cavities and sinuses, and unlike like salt water neti pots and nasal injectors, the Himalayan Salt Inhaler can also cleanse the lungs. The micrograms of salt air can penetrate and clean the entire respiratory system. The amount of salt is so small it does not affect blood pressure or cause problems with thyroid conditions sensitive to iodine.
Directions for use
Breathe normally through the inhaler mouthpiece and exhale through the nose. DO NOT breathe into the inhaler mouthpiece. When cleansing starts, you may experience coughing sneezing and phlegm mucus expectorations. You mat also taste salt in your mouth and throat. These conditions will disappear with regular use.
Recommended usage is 15-25 minutes per day, but as the individual gets accustomed to the cleansing effects, the time may be increased.
Care & Precautions
Each inhaler should be used only by one individual. Do not share ihaler. Do not use inhaler if chipped, cracked or broken in any area.
If salt becomes moist or wet, do not use inhaler. Always store inhaler in dry place when not in use.
If experiencing dry lips while using inhaler, apply lip balm or Vaseline before use. Wipe inhaler tip with a damp cloth after each use.
While the Himalayan Salt Inhaler is completely safe for small children, we do not recommend unsupervised use for those under 8 years of age.
Salt Replacement
Although the salt will last 3-5 years with daily use, if the salt becomes wet or moist, it must be replaced before using the inhaler. Use ONLY the original Himalayan Inhaler Salt from Chinaberry/Isabella. DO NOT use regular table salt, sea salt, or Epsom salts.
To replace salt, remove silicone plug from bottom of inhaler and allow salt to empty through opening. Shaking or flushing inhaler with water may be necessary to remove all salt. Replace with amount specified on Chinaberry/Isabella Himalayan Salt replacement pack. If the salt in chamber is wet or extremely moist, it may be necessary to use a hair dryer to completely dry the inside of the salt chamber. The salt chamber must be completely dry before replacing salt. |
